Digital Product &

Service Designer

I design for people first, using research and empathy to create solutions that simplify the complex. With research experience in healthcare, automotive, and extended reality, I'm driven by the challenge of making technology everywhere work better for everyone.

About

I'm Alex, a UX designer skilled in creating intuitive, human-centered experiences in emerging technologies.

I've always been fascinated by the human experience– first, exploring the intricacies of life at a molecular level in medicine and biochemistry, and now, understanding how people connect through technology. This journey has shaped me into a designer driven by curiosity and a desire to understand the why behind human behavior.

I thrive on complex challenges, whether it's leading user testing initiatives for spatial computing at Meta Reality Labs, or collaborating with parachute packers to reimagine parachute designs. Currently, I'm exploring the potential of AI and IoT driven services to create more intuitive experiences as a Master's student of Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon.

Ultimately, my goal is to make technology work for us, not the other way around.

Photography

12+ years of capturing moments and details has taught me to distill complex experiences into simple stories.

Photography is an exercise in design– an interplay between intention and the unpredictable. Here are some favorites from the years.
